Task name: Design and completion of works for Task 1: “Prace na odcinku linii kolejowej nr 98 Sucha Beskidzka – Chabówka” completed as a part of the following task: “Prace na liniach kolejowych nr 97, 98, 99 na odcinku Skawina – Sucha Beskidzka – Chabówka – Zakopane”

Scope regarding bridge industry:

Reconstruction of 54 engineering structures, including:

• bridges – 15 pcs. – replacement of load-bearing structure and adaptation of supports to new structure;
• flying junctions – 2 pcs. – replacement of load-bearing structure and adaptation of supports to new structure;
• a pedestrian bridge – 1 pcs. – adjustment of the bridge for people with reduced mobility and people with visual impairment (construction of passenger lifts and walkways with tactile paving, reconstruction of stairways, reconstruction of the bridge’s load-bearing capacity resulting from adjustment to addition of passenger lifts), maintenance works, replacement of damaged structural components and equipment;
• culverts – 36 pcs. – demolition and construction of new structures.

Renovation of 65 engineering structures, including:

• bridges – 7 pcs. – repair/replacement of damaged components, maintenance works;
• flying junctions – 1 pcs. – repair/replacement of damaged components, maintenance works;
• culverts – 56 pcs. – repair/replacement of damaged components, maintenance works;
• a retaining wall – 1 pcs. – repair/replacement of damaged components, maintenance works.

The civil engineering structures are located in the lines of railway lines no. 97, 98 and 99 at the section Skawina – Sucha Beskidzka – Chabówka – Zakopane. All of these are national-level single-track electrified railway lines.
